Abstract

HD 43587Aa is an F9 V star observed during the 145-day long LRa03 run of CoRoT. Its visual magnitude is 5.71, and its effective temperature close to 5900 K. It has a known binary companion in a highly eccentric orbit and is also coupled with 2 more distant companions. We carried out a seismic analysis of the star, using maximum likelihood estimators and Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods. Modelling of the internal structure of the star including the seismic properties shows that HD 43587Aa has a mass and a radius slightly higher to that of the Sun, at about the same age or also slighly higher.
