CoRoT and the Virtual Observatory
Abstract
The Centro de Astrobiología (CAB, INTA-CSIC) hosts the CoRoT Public Archive since 2008. CAB is also the core of the Spanish Virtual Observatory.
Time Series have been selected as a science priority area for the International Virtual Observatory Alliance. The IVOA's goal in this context is to identify research needs of the worldwide astronomy community than can benefit from VO related tools and services, and to take actions to assist in placing such tools and services into the research community
In this presentation we will describe the plan foreseen for the CoRoT Archive at CAB in the framework of the Virtual Observatory.
