On the Beaming Effect in Two CoRoT Detached Eclipsing Binaries
Abstract
We report the detection and amplitude of the beaming effect (aka Doppler- boosting) in two detached CoRoT eclipsing binaries which are located in the CoRoT fields SRa01 and LRa02. We present the first numerical modeling efforts of the observed beaming effect with a Roche-geometry. The masses and radii of the components are also estimated and presented.
