The CoRoT variability classifier: current status and planned improvements
Abstract
The CoRoT Variability Classifier (CVC) was developed to identify the different types of variable stars present in the CoRoT
exoplanet database in an automated way. The results are made available on the CoRoT archive soon after each data release (N3 products).
We present the current status of the classifier, an overview of the results obtained, and guidelines on how to use the results for target selection. Planned improvements and developments will be discussed.
