An Observational approach to AGN feedback
Abstract
Feedback from accreting black holes seem to play a key role in the galaxy evolutionary models. For AGN in high accretion rates, this feedback may be in the form of winds or outflows due to radiation pressure acting on the surrounding gas and dust. We report a robust method to select objects which are highly likely to produce such outflows. We will present the characterization of outflows using recent SINFONI observations to study the velocity structure of [OIII]5007 emission line in 4 radio-quite AGN at z~1.5.
