Rosa M. Tristán
Rosa M. Tristán obtained her degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1986. She won a scholarship to work in the news department of Radio Nacional de España. Until 2012, for 21 years, she was an editor on El Mundo newspaper, for the last 10 years in the Science section, as well as being on the team of the science supplement Eureka, and the digital version elmundo.es.
She is presently working on the programme “Reserva Natural” on Radio 5 of Radio Nacional de España, she is a scientific collaborator with the Huffington Post, with a blog on subjects related to science outreach, as well as the environment and social themes. She is the author of the scientific information blog “Laboratorio para Sapiens”.
She is also the Communication Coordinator for the NGO dedicated to cooperation for development “Solidarity Alliance”.
In 2013 she was given a Special Mention for the Tecnalia Prize. In 2014 she received the Doñana National Prize for Journalism dealing with Sustainable Development.
