Noemí Gómez Gómez

Noemí Gómez Gómez has a degree in Information Science from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has spent the major part of her professional career in the EFE news agency, where she has worked in the offices of Vitoria and Tenerife, as well as in the political section in Madrid. For three years she worked in the Secretariat of State for Cooperation and Development as head of the press department. Since 2008 she has been the science editor of the EFE agency. She has a Master’s degree in the management of culture from the University of Alcalá. She has received the prize of the Social Council of the Madrid Polytechnic, and has twice been awarded one of the Asebio-Genoma España prizes for Communication, the second time as runner-up.
