Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ICMAT)
The Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (ICMAT – Institute of Mathematical Sciences) is a joint research center consisting of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas - CSIC and three Madrid universities: the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). Its main objective is to stimulate excellence in mathematical research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ten of its researchers have been awarded by the European Research Council.
