ICIQ research groups focus their work on applying chemistry at the frontiers of knowledge in two main areas: Catalysis, which aims at discovering new and useful catalytic processes for the development of cleaner and more efficient industrial processes and the synthesis of bioactive substances, and Renewable energies, focused on the sustainable generation of hydrogen from water, the development of more efficient photovoltaic devices and the CO2 conversion into liquid fuels and feedstock for the chemical industry.
