LMT Observations of Dust Continuum and CO Emission Lines of Submillimetre Galaxies at z=2.0-4.7

Abstract

We present deep 450 and 850 $\mu$m observations of the Extended Groth Strip (EGS) as a part of the Submillimetre Common-User Bolometer Array-2 SCUBA-2 Cosmology Legacy Survey (S2CLS), conducted with the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT). The maps have an area of $\sim 80$ sq. arcmin and a central depth of $\sim 3.9$ mJy and $\sim 0.6$ mJy at 450 and 850 $\mu$m respectively. The differential and cumulative number counts, of galaxies detected at $\gt 3.75\sigma$, are presented and compared to previous works.
