Further investigations on the correlation between solar flares and global oscillations on the Sun
Abstract
Over the years there have been speculation supported by some observations that solar flares excite global oscillations. In the poster we carry out exhaustive correlative analysis on helioseismic and x-ray data from various instruments to check the validity of this hypothesis.
