Observational Evidence for Magnetic Fields across the H-R Diagram
Abstract
I will give an overview of most recent measurements of magnetic fields in various types of stars and substellar objects across the HR-diagram with the emphasis on measurement methods, observational biases, and the role of magnetic fields in stellar evolution.
