Abstract

We present, for the first time, Zeeman-Doppler images that show the surface magnetic field evolution on the K1 subgiant II Peg during the years 2004 to 2007. A self-consistent polarized radiative transfer inversion, that simultaneously retrieves the temperature and the magnetic field distributions, reveals that spots and magnetic fields on II Peg undergo a significant year-to-year change. Most of the starspots and magnetic field regions appear in high-latitudes and are predominantly arranged in active longitudes.
