HD232862: a magnetic and Lithium-rich bright giant field star
Abstract
We report the serendipitous discovery of an usually high lithium
content G8II star, HD 232862.
Indeed, from spectropolarimetric data collected with ESPaDoNS at
CFHT and spectral synthesis analysis, HD 232862 appears to be
the first Lithium-rich bright giant star hosting a surface magnetic field.
