School Venue
Standard lecture sessions will take place at the main conference room of the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) in La Laguna. The participants are encouraged to find accommodation as soon as they receive confirmation of participation at Hotel Laguna Nivaria**** located in Plaza del Adelantado or the Hotel Aguere , located in Calle Obispo Rey Redondo in La Laguna (see more details in Travel information).
The UNED main building is located within walking distance from the Laguna Nivaria hotel and the hotel Aguere. The School venue will have full facilities for the attendants including:
- A conference hall
- Poster area for poster presentations.
- Video and computer display facilities.
- Morning and afternoon coffee breaks.
- Free wireless internet access throughout the building.
Tutorials will take place at the main conference room of he Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) and the computer room of the Physics Faculty of the University of La Laguna, located close to the Central Campus. It takes about 15-20 minutes walking to get any of the two locations from the UNED building.
Each Professor will distribute the time at her/his own convenience amongst the different types of possible activities: lectures, exercises, practical classes, questions for students, etc..
