UV to FIR SEDs of intermediate redshift galaxies in the ELAIS-N1 field

Abstract
We present the results on the analysis of the SEDs of individual intermediate redshift (0.2 < z < 0.6) galaxies in the ELAIS-N1 field. We make use of the GALEX (UV) & SWIRE (visible + MIR + FIR) databases for this field. We fit the observational data to a large set of synthetic templates of galactic SEDs computed with the code GRASIL. This code reproduces in a consistent way the SED of star forming galaxies from the UV to the FIR. Our results show that assuming that the SFR follows a Schmidt law, the SEDs of intermediate redshift galaxies are basically well reproduced. However, the fraction of galaxies which need a starburst contribution over the Schmidt law increases with redshift.
