The Nature of LSB galaxies revealed by their Globular Clusters
Daniela Villegas, Markus Kissler-Patig, Andres Jordan

Abstract
The understanding of low surface brightness galaxies and their many extreme galaxy properties is essential to complete our picture of galaxy formation and evolution. In order to go one step farther in this goal, we will present the results of a study of the globular cluster systems of 6 massive LSB galaxies. As such study has not been done before the results of this work can help us to better constrain the general properties of these galaxies and will indicate the similarities and discrepancies of their formation and evolution processes with those experimented by high surface brightness galaxies.
