Evolutionary models for low- and intermediate-mass stars: constraints from multi-wavelength observations of stellar systems
Santi Cassisi

Abstract
We discuss the main uncertainties affecting current stellar models for low- and intermediate-mass stars in the various evolutionary phases. The impact of these uncertainties on the theoretical calibration of age and distance indicators as well as on population synthesis analysis is analysed. We show also how multi-wavelenght - and spectroscopical - observations of stellar systems can help in constraining the accuracy and reliability of stellar models.
