S0 Galaxies in Fornax: Stellar Populations at Large Galactocentric Distances

We study the stellar populations along the apparent semimajor axis for a sample of S0 galaxies in Fornax cluster, using the FORS2 spectrograph at the 8.2m ESO VLT. We present luminosity-weighted ages, metallicities, alpha-element abundances and its gradients within (median for the sample) 2 Re of the bulge. The unprecedent quality of our data permit us to shed new light on the evolutionary history of these systems.
