THE ELEVENTH CAMBRIDGE WORKSHOP ON

COOL STARS, STELLAR SYSTEMS

AND THE SUN

Challenges for the New Millennium

Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain

October 4th - 8th, 1999

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME (September 1999)

The Scientific Programme schedule is provided below. Invited reviews, contributed talks, and posters will be presented. Invited reviews are assigned 30 minutes talk plus 10 minutes for questions and discussion, while contributed talks span 15+5 minutes. We would appreciate speakers adjusting the duration of their talks accordingly. The workshop will be divided into plenary (morning) and discussion (afternoon) sessions.

A "programme summary" is provided first. The detailed scientific schedule is given inmediately after. You can retrieve an ASCII file of this schedule here.

Posters

The list of posters (title & authors) is also facilitated following the scientific schedule. Posters have been grouped into 12 topics which are:

(01) PMS Stars, T Tauri Stars, and Stellar Forming Regions (02) The Sun, and Solar Analogs
(03) Stellar Atmospheres and Interiors (04) Rotation, Stellar Activity and Magnetism
(05) Coronae (06) Flares, and Flare Stars
(07) Imaging of Stars and Environments (08) Abundances
(09) Clusters, Binary Stars, Stellar Dynamics (10) Low-Mass Stars, Brown Dwarfs, and Extrasolar Planets
(11) Mass Loss, Winds, Evolved Stars (12) Advances in Astronomical Instrumentation

Posters appear alphabetically ordered within each topic, and they will be displayed on panels (1m x 1m) in a room adjacent to the conference hall during the full duration of the meeting. The conference panels will be numbered as posters will, coinciding with the order assigned in the abstract-booklet or at this page. Therefore, it will be easy to find the right panel for every poster. Additional panels for late arrivals will be also provided. One poster session is planned to take place on Thursday, Oct. 7.
