Accomodation The conference will be held at Hotel H10 Taburiente Playa, Los Cancajos, La Palma. Los Cancajos is a quiet beach resort located between La Palma airport and the capital Santa Cruz de La Palma. The distance from Los Cancajos to either of these two is about 4km. There is a half-hourly bus service all day Santa Cruz-Los Cancajos-Airport and back, and taxi fares are around 6 Euros from/to Santa Cruz or the airport. Bus and taxi to/from the airport take 5-10 minutes. Special rates that include buffet breakfast and a tasty buffet dinner will be available for participants. A limited amount of cheaper accommodation in apartments to be shared by 2 or 3 persons will also be available in H10 Costa Salinas Apartments (right next to Taburiente Playa, operated by the same management). These apartments are specially thought for young researchers who apply for financial support.
