Workshop Venue (October 5-9)

Due to COVID-19, the initial conference originally on October 6-9 will now be an online workshop October 5-9, 2020.

Conference Venue (April 19-23)

Should COVID-19 subside enough for international travel, an in-person conference will be scheduled for April 19-23.

The main activities of the Conference will be held in Santa Cruz de La Palma, which is the main city in the Island of La Palma.

Santa Cruz is located on the east side of the island and harbours its commercial port. It is a small but charming city that has been declared of Cultural Interest.

Its main artery, "Calle Real" (Streets O'Daly and A.Pérez de Brito) along with the seafront (Avenida Marítma), the Virgen de la Luz and San Sebastian streets, are fairly lively and show most of the valuable buildings and places that the city houses.

Most of the talks will be held at the Teatro Circo de Marte, a newly refurbished theater dating back to 1871. At the time the main activities were cock fighting or popular dances, but from 1914 to 1918 it was remodeled to host more theatrical activities. For more information on the building and the current status of the Teatro Circo de Marte see this link (in Spanish). The coffee breaks will be offered at the adjacent Museum of Modern Art.
