Important dates

The meeting wiil be virtual from 5-9 October 2020, followed by a face to face meeting (COVID-19 permitting) that will take place in Santa Cruz de la Palma, Canary Islands, Spain, from April 19 to April 23, 2021.  We are hoping there are no travel restrictions at that time due to the coronavirus. The special nature of these two meetings and the purpose of achieving an international agreement on the protection of the sky for astronomy and the public in the shortest possible time, makes it important that these two meetings take place in the planned time frame. 

Online Workshop in October 5-9, 2020

• 31 March 2020 - First annoucement & Registration open 
• 30 June 2020 - Deadline for applying for financial support (Not Applicable)
• 15 July 2020 - Notification of awards (Cancelled)
• 30 September 2020 - Registration deadline for online Workshop
• 5 October 2020 - Online Worshop starts
• 9 October 2020 - On line Worshop ends
