GRANTS FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS

    The "Fundación Canaria Orotava de Historia de la Ciencia" has been awarded by the EC programme Human Potential Programme: High-level scientific Conferences, EC financial support to select young researchers and post-graduate students (nationals of the European Union (EU) or Associated States) to attend the Symposium Galileo 2001. This financial support is intended to partially cover their travel and subsistance costs and participation fees.

Eligible candidates to these grants must be:

- Nationals of a Member State of the EU or Associated States.

- Researchers up to an age limit of 35 years at the time of the event.

The Organizers encourage applications from the following target groups:

- Researchers whose place of work is in a less favoured region in the EU.

    To apply for these grants please complete the attached application form and send before November 20th 2000. The decisions on these applications will be released during December 2000.
