Motivation
This workshop is organized by the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in collaboration with the ESPRESSO consortium with the goal of reviewing the current status of the science exploitation of the guaranteed time observations allocated to the ESPRESSO consortium by the European Southern Observatory (ESO). ESPRESSO (Echelle SPectrograph for Rocky Exoplanets and Stable Spectroscopic Observations) is a third generation fiber-fed, cross-dispersed, high-resolution spectrograph installed at the incoherent combined Coudé facility of the Very Large Telescope ( VLT ) at ESO. This workshop will join the members of the science team and project members of the ESPRESSO consortium in a face-to-face meeting on February 7-10, 2023 in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote (Canary Islands).
