Presentation
One and a half years after its launch, the first 50 sq. deg of Euclid observations (Q1) will become publicly available. The primary goal of this collaboration meeting is to bring together Euclid Consortium members working on galaxy formation across different redshifts and scales. The event will provide a platform to discuss ongoing analyses of the first Euclid data and prepare for the work on Data Release 1.
Key Topics of Discussion (non-exhaustive):
- Evolution of galaxy physical properties and morphology
- The role of environment in shaping galaxy populations
- Dwarf and low surface brightness galaxies in the local universe
- The first galaxies
- AGNs and their connection to their host galaxies
This meeting is a joint effort by the Local Universe, Galaxy Evolution and AGN, and Primeval Universe Science Working Groups.
We invite all members of the Euclid Consortium who are currently working or planning to work with Euclid data to join us for a week of engaging discussions and collaborative opportunities. Abstracts from historically underrepresented or disadvantaged groups are encouraged.
The meeting will adopt a hybrid format, with in-person participation in Tenerife, Spain, and virtual participation via Zoom.
Note: Registration is exclusively open to members of the Euclid Consortium.
