Abstract

We search for microlensing effect in the gravitational lens systems HE0047 -1756 and SDSS1155 +6346 using spectra obtained with Magellan/IMACS (2007) and MMT/Blue-Channel (2008). The uncontaminated spectra were obtained using a program developed in Wolfram Mathematica. For each component, we used Dipso program to obtain the flux in the continuum under the emission line and the flux in emission line core without continuum. The Comparison between the magnitude difference in the emission line cores and the magnitude difference in the continuum give us the microlensing magnification for each system. In HE0047-1756 we found evidence of chromatic microlensing dm=[(mB-mA)_cont-(mB-mA)_line]=0.41+-0.26 mag at 8012 A and dm=0.70+-0.23 at 5439 A. This will help us estimate the size of the emitting region. In the case of SDSS1155 there is also evidence of microlensing: dm=1.29+-0.02 mag.
