I introduce the SARCS sample of lens candidates. This sample was compiled by More et al. 2012 from an semi-automatic search of strong-lensing features on the CFHTLS survey. I present the weak-lensing and optical analysis of this sample, which confirm that most of the SARCS objects are group-scale lenses. I show some correlations between mass and optical properties (richness, luminosity, M/L ratio) that can be used as mass proxies. Finally I list some of the on-going and future works related to the SARCS sample.
