Invited review abstract

Magnetic reconnection in three dimensions provides a much richer variety of reconnection regimes than two-dimensional reconnection. In particular, it is found that reconnection frequently occurs in the absence of null points. In this talk, I will describe how reconnection occurs at separators and look at various examples in three dimensions which include separator and/or non-null reconnection.
