Invited review abstract

Hinode/SOT Ca observations revealed ubiquitous jets associated with anemone-shape footpoints suggestive of magnetic reconnection, which are quite similar to coronal X-ray anemone jets observed with Yohkoh and Hinode. Here, we will discuss the origin of chromospheric anemone jets and their relation to emerging flux and Ellerman bombs, using numerical simulations, Hinode observations, and ground-based Hida Ca II spectroheliographic observations.
