Abstract

$\gamma$ Doradus ($\gamma$ Dor) are F-type stars pulsating with high order g-modes.
Their rotation and pulsation frequencies are often of the same order. Hence, rotation is expected to affect significantly the characteristics of pulsations.
Adopting the so-called traditional approximation of rotation to treat the Coriolis force, we explore the influence of rotation over the stability of $\gamma$ Dor stellar models covering the mass range 1.2 M$_{\odot}$ < M < 2.5 M$_{\odot}$.
We investigate the effects of rotation on the pulsation parameters of $\gamma$ Dor stars : period spacings, range of excited modes, theoretical instability strips.
