Format of the Splinter session
We plan on having 2 key speakers give observational and theoretical reviews of ~20 min and 6 solicited contributed talks of 12+3 min focused on the future opportunities listed above. We will finish with a poster pop-up session followed by a 30-min discussion involving all participants to address the observational-theoretical connections needed over the next decade to address future research.
