Meeting venue
The workshop will take place at the IACTec building located in near the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in La Laguna, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, on March 7-9, 2023. There same place is also reserved for splinters on March 6 and March 10 2023. We recommend to book hotels in the center of La Laguna or in Santa Cruz close to the Tram ( Metrotenerife ) line stops La Laguna-Santa Cruz.
If you are coming with an accompanying person/s, please let us know it by including this information in the "comments" box in the online-registration form . We will assume your accompanying person/s will come to the dinner. Please, indicate any other issue you considered relevant, such as food allergies, etc.
The IACTec building can be reached by bus and tram from the city centres of La Laguna and Santa Cruz in about 15 and 45 min, respectively. The easiest way to reach the IACTec building is by tram ( Metrotenerife )and stopping at the tram-stop "Las Mantecas", and walking for about eight minutes as seen here . Note that the tram takes about 10 minutes from the tram-stop “Trinidad” in La Laguna to the tram-stop “Las Mantecas” and it takes 27 minutes from the tram-stop “Intercambiador” in Santa Cruz to the tram-stop “Las Mantecas”.
Workshop fee payment
There will be a workshop fee of 135 Euro to cover the organization and logistics of the workshop. This fee must be paid via bank transfer, with a deadline on 15 February 2023. The instructions will be provided soon.
Social dinner
The social dinner will be on Wednesday 8 March 2023. Please, indicate in the online-registration form your choice for the menu of the dinner. The Social dinner will be held at the "Alisios Café" restaurant in the Auditorio de Tenerife . The easiest way to reach the Auditorio de Tenerife from IACTec is by tram from the tram stop "Las Mantecas" to the last stop of the tram "Intercambiador" in Santa Cruz, and then walking 6 min to reach the Auditorio de Tenerife . It will take about 45 min as seen here .
Getting to Tenerife (flight information)
There are two international airports in Tenerife, called Tenerife Norte Airport and Tenerife Sur Airport which connect very well the island of Tenerife with Madrid in about 2,5 hours and Barcelona in about 3 hours. These airports are also well connected with airports of many cities in Europe.

From Tenerife Norte Airport (TFN)
We recommend you to take a taxi since the airport is about 5-20 min from La Laguna or Santa Cruz, thus it is the easiest way to get to La Laguna, and it will just cost you around 10-25 €. Alternatively, there are frequent buses from the TFN airport to La Laguna - Santa Cruz (line 20).
From Tenerife Sur Airport (TFS)
TFS airport is about 60 km away from Santa Cruz. A taxi will cost about 70 €. We recommend you to take either a taxi or a bus to La Laguna or Santa Cruz. Alternatively, there are frequent buses from the TFS airport to La Laguna - Santa Cruz (line 10).
