XI DNC 2019
The XI edition of the Día de Nuestra Ciencia will be held this year on
Tuesday 28th of May
at
TEA (Tenerife Espacio de las Artes)
in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
from 9:00 to 16:30
This event is a unique opportunity to present your work, interact with your colleagues in the institute, get to know the work of your colleagues from other Areas or Research Groups, set up possible internal collaborations, or get to be known by your colleagues if you are a newcomer to the Institute.
In short, it is an ideal way to spend a working day in a different environment and in a relaxed atmosphere.

We are looking forward to scheduling presentations of interesting scientific results from you. Therefore, submission of abstracts of oral contributions are very welcome.
This year, we will only have contributed talks of 5 minutes plus 2 minutes of questions. The talks will be organized in blocks of 6 talks of varied topics, and there will be 15 minutes of open discussion about the 6 talks at the end of each block.
We encourage all IAC researchers and engineers, either PhD students, postdocs or staff, to enjoy this day, either by simply attending or by presenting their work. People who have not presented anything during the last two editions of the DNC will have priority. The selection of the talks will take into account a balance between science topics, job positions and gender.
As in the previous editions, attendance is free. We will have coffee breaks and a light buffet meal for lunch.
We also remind you all that Orden de Desplazamiento will not be needed.
