Talk abstract details

We present an exhaustive analysis of a large class of field theories with kinematical self-coupling supporting three space dimensions spherically symmetric soliton solutions. These theories concern scalar, multiscalar, electromagnetic and non-commutative gauge fields. We discuss the possible physical consequences of these models when coupled to gravitation.
