Talk abstract details

In this talk I will review the status of numerical binary black hole evolutions performed by the Jena numerical relativity group. I will summarize the methods we use, and discuss results for long evolutions of nonspinning black holes and the large gravitational recoiled effects from spinning black holes. Particular emphasis will be put on comparisons with results from post-Newtonian approximations.
